Last 2 1/2days were spent in Munich...took a train from Karlsruhe to Munich....d rest were falling asleep in d train....surprisingly i was wide awake, looking at d view....saw more patches of snow along d way....juz beautiful...

So nice to know dat our hostel was so near d main train station...heehee...After checking in and settling down, we decided to go out before it turns dark....so we went to the Deutsches Museum... honestly i dun really like museums coz i juz automatically get sleepy at some point heehee...but i decided once we reached the hostel in Munich, i am juz going to follow along wif watever plans d guys decided wif...be a follower for once hahaha....
So anyway, the museum was somewat displaying more of d mechanical, engineering aspect of d Germans i suppose, displaying how good dey were wif mining and glass-blowing and complex toys and automobiles...and also include astronomy and computing as well....juz looking at some displays...dun really understand coz mostly explained in German...nice...haha...

By d time we left d museum, it was getting dark...decided to go to the main square where d main Xmas market is in full swing...so big...turn left, turn right, forward, sideways...all full of beautiful and colourful stores selling so many stuffs dat u get tempted to buy hehehe...bought sum candles of different sizes...Besides that, all d main departmental stores were lit up brightly....It was so cold that it felt like im stepping on ice dat literally chills down to my bone but despite all dat, cant help but get excited and getting into d mood of Xmas in Germany...:)

The next day, visited a day market...selling loads of fruits and vegetables and flowers and sausages and pork of course, but at d same time loads of stores selling ornaments made of grass and wood and nice smelling spices and dry fruits... cool...

After dat, we decided to follow a free tour of d main attractions of Munich...got a cool Canadian guy as a guide...very entertaining wif stories of Munich, juz full of information to share wif us... never got bored of him...thumbs up man!! ;)....

Then, somewhere along d tour, not planned, we came upon a bus full of beauty pageant queens... apparently "Queen of the World" tour or sumting like dat...no Miss Singapore though :(....d most perplexed is seeing an Asian girl representing Ireland!! wat??!!??....anyways....

Der was filming of d beauty queens as well...and we got filmed too!! Imagine our "beautiful" faces appearing on their German news or sumting hahaha...So we got filmed and i return a favor and filmed d cameraman instead!!...actually he's kinda cute though...hahahaha...

After d tour, we were dropped off near another small market...never got tired of dem...coz each of them r so different in terms of how dey were decorated and their themes as well...

Then we went up a cathedral i think...to d top...how many steps were there?? more den 500steps im sure...phewwww...by d time i reached d top, my thighs were shaking hahaha...but i beat Wong and Fang Feng!! hahaha....View fr d top was awesome though....looking down at d Xmas market as well...and it was sunset too, making d view even more incredible...
Still tired fr climbing d steps, Wong?? heehee...

D next day, since our flight is in d evening, we still got time to go around Munich. So on a serious note, we decided to visit Dacau concentration camp...followed a tour again and luckily we got d same Canadian guy as our guide....
My god dat place is so barren and empty, so gloomy as well...sad to know so many people died here....it wasnt an execution camp though, but d prisoners were made to work like hell till dey either die or becomes so ill dat dey have to be killed...on d other hand, if u so-called stood out from d guards' point of view, ie. too short or wear glasses or anyting dat caught their eyes, u get tortured and punished too....d living conditions were bad as well...cramming 2000 prisoners in a bunker meant ideally for only 250people!! And den came d gas chambers...d pics were horrifying
Dat trip was certainly an eye-opener for me...and being d ignorant me, i definitely gain so much info fr dat trip....

Dat evening, we left for d airport. But then wif all d drama throughout d whole trip, y not add 1more drama rite?? hehehe....
Remember in earlier post wen i said we landed in Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg airport shared by d Swiss, French and German?? Well...our passports didnt get stamped then but we saw d officers scanning them so we were nt dat bothered...But it became a problem wen we went thru customs in Munich...d officer wouldnt let us thru coz we got no arrival stamp so we had to go to d police office!!
So now i got a new kind of stamp in my passport...to say we were in d country legally i suppose hahaha...kinda cool rite?? wat a way to end our trip hahahaha....
am i a criminal now?? ;)
