ok ok guys...definitely last post on iceland hahaha....the last few days in iceland....

Day 4...wanted to go horseriding initially but fully booked so we decided to just go around the city area instead...took the hop on/off bus...actually nothing much to see...just visited the national museum...where we cant take any pics and i ended up doing jigsaw puzzle wif dat someone hahaha....also went to pearl harbour, which has a nice view from the top...and also visited one of their biggest shopping mall...but didnt buy anything much coz no $$!! hahaha...

And dat ends day 4...of course wif a nice dinner of different fried fishes...cod...catfish...gellur... blue ling...watever dey look like...dey definitely tasted nice hahaha...

Day 5....horseriding...yippie...excited but nervous as well...first time riding a horse mah hahaha.. of coz dey give u "easy" horses to ride on...and mind u...d riding lasted 3hours...wow...and eventhough horses r quite "automatic" ie.dey know d way...u still gotta maneuver the reins in order to turn them or stop them...all on ur own...and mount n dismount on ur own!!...and hold on to them while they r feeding s well....wow....never tot i could do dat....fun though...though my body aching after dat haha...esp my ass and thighs hahaha....but worth it i guess heehee

And dats it!! The next day we left early in the morning for london....sad to leave...had so much fun and adventure...it was really an eye-opener...

P.P.S. Blue Ling are deep sea species....gellur=fish tongues!!(no wonder tasted different...n u tot fishes' tongues r not big enuff...hahaha)

Ok guys, hopefully i can squeeze the rest of my trip in this post heehee...

Day 3...Whale Watching and Blue Lagoon...was a more cloudy and rainy day today...but still went ahead wif whale watching in the morning...according to the crew...cloudy day is good as u can see the whale better without reflection from the sun...damn cold...dat someone was feeling really cold coz he only brought along a couple of cotton jackets...hehehe....was on the sea for a few hours....looking at puffins on an island...wish i could land on the island and kidnap sum puffins...damn cute hehehehe....anyway...tried my best to capture them on camera as clear as i can...den went for whale watching...in the centre of d sea...i tot at one point we might even reach north pole or sumting or see a floating ice-berg...hmmm...probably wif a polar bear floating on it??yes??no?? hehehehe...juz kidding...saw sum whale...wish can see more but maybe dey r not in d mood to keep resurfacing...only once did it jump and splash back into d sea...but too unpredictable and too fast to capture...again...tried to capture them resurfacing as best as i can...forgive me...im not a pro in picture taking hahahaha...

After dat, we went to Blue Lagoon...hot spring in the middle of nowhere hehehe...in between mountains full of sulphur hehehe....it was great! warm and hot water in the open...though very cold wen out of the water hehehe...for someone like me who cant swim, it was perfect as the maximum height the water can go to is up till ur chest hahaha....u can swim or just soak and relax or even apply sum mud mask on ur face, or even relax in the sauna...great stuff...we spent a few hours there hehehe...love it!! After showering and stuff...we walked around just ouside the main lagoon and the scenery is just as fantastic, if not even better....

hey guys...how u all doing...juz came back from holiday wif dat sumone, wong and ff....n wer did we go to ?? "drum rolls" hehehe...ICELAND!! yup...iceland....damn nice...never had a holiday like this before....and yet d most expensive holiday i have ever been too...but yet so worth it.... no words and pictures can describe how nice and beautiful dis place is...it left me in awe...there is still so much wonder in this world...fresh air and places untouched by man...so natural...iceland is definitely one of those places...and never have i done so much stuff on my holiday...not just shopping and walking around the main city looking at the main attractions places...but going out of the main city and doing stuff like soaking in hot spring, whale-watching, standing at d egde of waterfall and horse-riding....wow....dats all i can say....

1st day...we just walk around the area near our accommodation...just familiarising ourselves to d beautiful surroundings...walking down d famous shopping street and walking along the coast as well...

The next day, we went on a day tour called "Golden Circle" which includes the famous Gulfoss waterfall and Geyser as well, plus National Park and other attraction places and beautiful sceneries along the way...i just love the waterfall, so clear and white and peaceful and serene...wow....just wow...and standing just at the edge of it...looking it flowing down...again wow, just wow...hehehe

Wen we got back to our B&B, we then decided to go for dinner and also walked around again as apparently, its Iceland's cultural week or sumthing like dat and its d last day today so got some outdoor concerts and fireworks as well....d streets were such a contrast to yesterday's...so many people and all bars and restaurants are filled up...dey even sell outdoor grilled food..curiousity comes in and ff ended up buying sum whale meat...yup...minke whale...d taste is a cross between beef and fish...watever dat is supposed to mean hahaha...it looks and taste like steak and yet also smells and taste like fish....i guessed its like dat coz whales arent fishes...dey r mammals...so i guess dat somewhat explain d mixture of appearance n taste n smell hehehe...After dat, we went for proper dinner at a restaurant...long queue first of coz...n then headed to see d outdoor concert, which i personally feel suit d youngsters here more...after a while, ff n wong suggested we headed home coz we still need to wake up early to move to another accommodation and go for another day tour....however we still stayed up till we saw d fireworks from our dorm...kinda cool but short...pics courtesy from wong...

Wow...and dats just Day 1&2 hehehe...still got more pics but enuff hehehe...
