Noraidah & Ridwan-Happy Engagement Day...

hey peeps...hows it goin?? kinda juz gt back from engagement ceremony- bonding two of my frens together, namely Aida & Rid...yup, their engagement day today...however in our culture, the woman has to dress up. The guy's family and relatives will come over to the girl's house to so-called discuss how long to be engage and d dowry as well, before the representative from the guy's side, which is usually an elder woman, will put the ring on the girl's ring finger as a sign of she being attached to him. They will also exchanged gifts, namely food stuffs and cake.


I got there quite early while she getting her outfit done. She looks nice and sweet-d makeup artist did a great job and she's nice too :)

And then Ridwan's family and relatives came soon after...bought quite alot of gifts too...










After "discussions" came the ring ceremony...Aidah was quite nervous though it didnt show hehe
So many people trying to take pics by now so dis is d best dat i can get...amateur! hahaha...

And dats it...Aidah was a happy girl in the end...so happy for her...wonder if my turn will ever come...sigh....
Still got another function to attend tomorrow...and then back to london on Monday!!
