CORDOBA- a small city but so lovely with all d small roads n streets to go into and leads u to some beautiful apartments with beautiful gardens to look at...love dis place...nice and sunny now as we r down in d south...bought a few stuffs here as well...cant help it...heehee...
The two main attractions dat we went to are The Mezquita, and the Alcazar de los Reyes Christianos...
The Mezquita is Cordoba's Great Mosque in the 12th century when the Moorish were there. However part of it was destroyed to accommodate the cathedral in the 16th century...
Alcazar was a palace-fortress of the Catholic Monarchs built in the 14th century. The best bit of dis place is the garden which has beautiful water terraces and fountains. I juz love dis garden... could stay there for hours heehee...
And then the next day we were off to Seville for a day b4 flying back to London...we were supposed to take d train to Seville...but something happened...d time changes n we didnt even know...since everything was written in Spanish and thus, we missed our train hahaha... so we had to get another ticket at a later time...thank /god d tics weren't expensive...stupid us... hahaha...
Anyway, we did eventually arrived in Seville...again, nice n sunny and since we didnt get time to visit many places, juz went to the main square and shooping area, and the cathedral wer u can go up to d top to see an overview of Seville...
And dats it!! Back to cloudy and windy London...well it's been quite mild these few days but apparently cold again during d weekends...wat d hell...
Ohh...n i like to take dis opportunity to congratulate Shariza on her oncoming engagement... so happy for u girl...
P.S. Wonder if my turn will ever come....sigh....
